"Spring Fest" Retreat

Join us for our first “Spring Fest Retreat” hosted by Woodside Quilting in Des Moines, Iowa. Held at the Conference Center in the Holiday Inn Express, 2502 South Hulsizer Rd., Ankeny, Iowa 50021. Enjoy 5 fun-filled days of sewing and crafting with your quilting friends!

This open retreat is for anyone—work on any project you like. There's plenty of room to spread out, making it a great time to bring friends for an unforgettable experience. Note: Our normal club retreats won't meet at the shop in March; instead, join this week-long event to connect with other groups!
We'll end with a “Project Show” to showcase accomplishments. Expect a celebration with lots of fun, a gift table with over $1000 in giveaways, games, prizes—and maybe even a sewing machine giveaway!
This will be an extraordinary week of creativity, community, and quilting! Learn from experienced Woodside teachers on piecing, appliqué, color theory, and more. Enjoy dedicated project time, collaborative quilts, mini challenges, and evening socials. Return home refreshed and inspired!

- Retreat room open 7:00 am to 11:00 pm daily (16 hours of sewing time!)
- Friday closes at 4:00 pm
- Setup: Sunday, March 8 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm, or Monday at 7:00 am
- Room locked overnight (11:00 pm to 7:00 am) for security

- No refunds once signed up
- Cancellations 30 days or more in advance (before February 9) receive store credit
- Cancellations less than 30 days: No store credit; find your own replacement and notify us
