(Quiltjane) has been quilting since 1983. Author, teacher, Moda fabric designer, long arm quilterand pattern designer. She is known for her colourful quilts and unique patterns. Jane has self published “Desert to Sea’, and contributed many designs to books and magazines, including partnering with Pat Sloan in creating the Splendid Sampler 1 & 2 sew-a-longs and books.

What you will need to bring to class For one hexagon flower. 1 FQ - solid (background) 1 FQ - print (backing) 6 charms (5” x 5’) squares of assorted prints (Petals) Batting at least 4” x 35” Matching 50wt thread. Size 10 milliners needle Fabric Glue stick Freezer paper Pencil or water erasable pen Freshly Picked Flower acrylic template set (available on the day) Rotary Cutter and cutting board. Small rotating cutting board is recommended. Wonder clips or pins. General sewing supplies, including scissors and thimble Optional: To add a line of quilting around petals bring matching embroidery floss and embroidery needle with large eye.
