Structured Sashiko: Beginner/Intermediate - with Carol Ziogas
Supply list:
- Fabric - cotton/linen blend is preferred or one of the woven Sashiko fabrics. One fat quarter is enough.
- Sashiko needles
- 4-ply (thin) sashiko thread (I usually use Daruma or Yokota) in two or more colors, preferably contrasting with each other (i.e. orange and blue, not white and off-white)
- Ruler - smaller size, either a school-type 12" ruler or similar that isn't too big. If it has inches and centimeters, that's best!
- Washout fabric marking pen or pencil.
- Blue painters tape or washi tape for securing materials for marking.
- Grid paper or notebook with centimeter or 1/4" grid, or both.

She has demonstrated her skills at the Tokyo International Quilt Festival. |
