Liberty of London Club where you will find everything and everyone in love with all things Liberty!
There are so many beautiful fabrics, notions and patterns Liberty of London has created for us we can't wait to share all of them!
We have blenders and fabric creations of "Lasenby quilting cottons" arriving monthly. Many Liberty blenders are in the store now and each month we receive new collections specifically designed by Liberty of London. The "Tana Lawn" fabrics are on our horizon but won't be arriving until 2025.
The Liberty Fabrics department of London is a true design institution. World-renowned for their historic 50,000-strong print archive, and for their in-house studio where new artworks are painted and drawn by hand, the Liberty Fabrics offering reflects their storied heritage and century-spanning passion for art and design. From ornate Art Nouveau layouts and classic 1930s ditsy florals to bold geometrics, landscapes and offbeat conversationals, their fabrics offer a colorful canvas that bespoke creations of all kind – grab your favorite by the yard and get making.
As an example the "Lasenby quilting cottons" Originally designed for Liberty Fabrics in 1933, The "Wiltshire" print has been reimagined into a two-color shadow silhouette to become the perfect fabric blender. The muted leaf and berry print of Wiltshire Shadow is available in a multitude of color ways, designed to coordinate against other layouts from the vast archive of Liberty prints for a seamless mix-and-match effect. Wiltshire Shadow has been selected by Liberty Fabrics’ studio team to become the perfect blender for quilting, available in a wide range of hues.
This is just one of the quilting cotton blenders we will have from the Liberty collection.
Others we have are Snowdrop Belle, Emily Belle. Merton Rose, Silhouette and many many more to come!
Each of the designer collections of Liberty will be received in the store as they are released monthly. All of these collections will blend very well with each other and the Lasenby quilting blenders.
The Woodside Quilting Liberty of London Club
- The cost is $75 annually to be a member of the club.
- Liberty fabrics are discounted at 15% off only for Club members.
- We plan to have 4 Quarterly “High Teas” each year on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon when the shop is closed as a private event open only to club members.
- At the Private " High Tea" event we will have “Show and Tell”. We will also have appetizers/sweets and tea.
- During the “High Tea” we will have door prizes and giveaways.
- You will also get first choice of the newest Liberty fabrics and notions.
- A tote bag with a club logo printed for you personalized with your name machine embroidered on the bag. You may also find extra goodies in the bag.
