We offer classes for everyone....beginners making their first quilt,
 those who want to learn new quilting techniques or those who just want to join friends in learning a fun project.
About our classes:
Just call the store to register.
Class fees are due at the time you enroll and are not refundable unless you provide notice 7 days before the class begins.
Books, patterns, fabrics and notions on the class supply list can be purchased at a 15% discount upon your paid enrollment, through the day of the class.
If we cancel a class, we will refund your class fee. If it's winter time and we cancel a class due to bad weather we will call you prior to class and either refund or re-schedule the class for a later time.
We have started our new "Sew-cial Sew In" ! It is the 4th Friday of each month from 10 am-10 pm. Come join us for some Sew-cial fun and help on your projects. Are you in one of our BOM projects, Patchwork Party, Embroidery projects or clubs? This is the perfect time to come sew together and get help on your projects. Or you just have your own project. Lunch or dinner is on your own. Snacks are always welcome! Bring yourself, a friend or a group of friends. It?s time to Sew_cialize and have fun sewing and learning all at the same time! And best of all IT?S FREE!!!!! Please let us know if you are planning to attend. Limited Space is available.

Lets make a snowman! If you have wanted to take another wool class from Angela Lawrence this one will brighten your winter "blues" ! Her new design called "Merry Snowmen" is timeless. She will take you on a journey of understanding wool type's, blends and threads to get you started. This beginning/intermediate wool applique' class begins with a discussion on the characteristics of wool and recommendations for threads and notions to use with wool. A demonstration of several stitches such as the blanket stitch, the stem stitch, the whip-stitch, and the French knot. So don't be afraid jump in and have fun with some hand stitching. Kits and Pattern required for class and we will have black Valdani Perle #12 cotton thread for the class to purchase. More info. coming on kit cost. Kits will be available at the store. (A light lunch will be included)

Introducing "Patchwork Party" Join us the first Saturday of the month at 10:30 am for a PARTY starting August 4th and the first Saturday each month there after! There will be door prizes, show and tell, tips, tricks, demos. The Party is FREE and open to all. However please call and sign up so we have an idea of how many party goers to expect and plan for. See our page under Special Events to see the fabrics and blocks we are working with for our store sample but your combinations and imaginations are endless.Bring a friend to inspire more ideas and creativity. Come join the party and have fun with your quilting friends!

Who doesn't like enjoying 3 days of sewing with some of your best quilting friends! It's the most fun you'll have all year! We have 6 retreats a year with buffet dinners and some non-food retreats. Please see additional dates and details in the Special events section under Retreats. We are very excited to be able to host our Retreats in our New Retreat Center. We have a large room in the back that is just perfect for retreats. We serve a buffet dinner Friday and Saturday night and a Sunday morning Brunch for this retreat. Come join us for some great quilting fun!

We are having a Quilt Of Valor Retreat in the Retreat Center.There is no cost for this retreat. There will be a 15% discount on all Red, White, Blue and Patriotic fabrics for the retreaters during the retreat. All are invited! If you have been thinking about making a Quilt Of Valor this is your stop! It's a fun group and there is help along the way if you need it. There will also be prize drawings, group projects and a whole lot of fun! Come enjoy a fun filled day sewing for our Veterans! Please call or stop in the shop to sign up. This class is for beginning or Nervous Novice free motion quilters. The goal is to give information and instruction enough to encourage confidence in free motion quilting using your domestic sewing machine. Topics covered will be selecting thread, needles, batting and other notions; preparing your sewing environment to aid in the quilting process; quilting using both marked and no-mark methods. There will be ample time to practice various quilting methods on your machine. Pre-requisite to Westalee ruler class.
